Cadets on the Water

Sessions run by parents of cadet age children. These are social sailing sessions, club boats need to be booked in the normal way. It is the individual parent???s decision to let their child go afloat and their responsibility to be at the club whilst their child is on the water. Parents are encouraged to go afloat with their children either nearby in kayaks or in sailing dinghies. However, parents must stay near where the children are to support the other parents in the patrol boat and assist if any issues arise. Sessions are co-ordinated via the cadet parents whatsapp group and only take place if sufficient powerboat volunteers are available.
